2023 Chinese New Year Gala: “Beauty Beyond Words – 大美不言”

On Tuesday 17 January, the Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg organised its 2023 Chinese New Year Dance and Music Show “Beauty Beyond Words” at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, in collaboration with Bank of China, Chinalux and the China Cultural Centre in Luxembourg.

This event was one in a series of celebrations put on by various institutions, organisations and associations during January that will bring to a close the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Luxembourg, as celebrated throughout 2022. In honour of the occasion, we were pleased to welcome 48 Luxembourgish musicians from the Harmonie Municipale de Mondercange, as well as 9 Chinese musicians and dancers from the Goldsmiths Confucius Institute in London.
