The Confucius Institute is organising its monthly Chinese Cinema Cycle in the Cercle Cité. This is a unique opportunity to discover Chinese films and documentaries (with English subtitles). The Confucius Institute worked with the Allers-Retours Association to select the films. Come along on Thursday 18 December 2025 from 17:30 (start at 18:00) for the screening of 5 short films:  “The Burning Night”,  “The Dancing Girl and The Balloon Man”,  “Summer Knows”,  “Here, Hopefully” and  “Where do ants sleep at night” (English subtitles)
Venue: Cercle Cité, 2 rue Genistre, Luxembourg City (Henri Beck auditorium – 5th floor)

L’Institut Confucius organise son Cycle Cinéma Chinois mensuel au Cercle Cité. Une occasion unique de découvrir des films et documentaires chinois (sous-titres en anglais). A man and a woman suffer from the same terrible disease: they do not fit in. Their world, an office space, is disrupted when a pigeon flies in through the window and wreaks havoc. This is a short film combining elements of dance, theatre, music and the language of cinema.
