The Perspective of Grammar Teaching – Taking “le” as an Example

Grammar is a complex of syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Grammar needs to be taught from many different perspectives. “Le” is one of the most basic and difficult teaching points and needs to be taught from a suitable angle. This lecture will talk about the grammatical meaning, how to motivate students and the teaching methods of “le”, combined with the errors of the European students.

Language and culture are closely connected and inseparable. In language teaching, it is necessary to combine language knowledge with cultural background knowledge to enable students to understand the cultural psychology of language users and to further understand their values. The lecture will introduce some of the core concepts of Chinese culture and their embodiment in communication, as well as how to improve students’ cultural awareness in classroom teaching.
