Third Conference on Chinese Language and Culture

On 7 November 2020, the Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg held its third Conference on Chinese Language and Culture via Zoom.

More than 40 people involved in teaching Chinese as a foreign language coming from different countries were present. Two experts, Wu Zhongwei and Chen Yu, were invited from Fudan University to speak about the relation between speaking and writing in Chinese teaching and how to design a Chinese teaching activity.

The participants found the presentations and subsequent discussions very helpful. In this way, the Confucius Institute serves as a platform for a high quality conference every year to promote the further development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language not only in Luxembourg, but also beyond.
