China is changing its financial system to support a green transition. This lecture will show how China approaches green finance, how much progress has been made, and what the main challenges are. It will cover both domestic issues like ESG investing and the green bond market, as well as overseas aspects such as Chinese financing for energy projects across the world. Lastly, it will highlight the projects for greater collaboration between the EU and China.
